Re-Enroll in Santa Barbara Clean Energy

Most City of Santa Barbara residents and businesses are already SBCE customers. If you previously opted out of SBCE service, you can rejoin if you have been a Southern California Edison (SCE) customer for at least one year. To check your status, look for “Santa Barbara Clean Energy” on your latest SCE bill.

Enroll in Solar+: If you are adding solar, great news! Your solar installer will handle all of your enrollment paperwork so you are automatically signed up for Solar+. You can also always call us for more information. 

Opt Down to Green Start: Green Start gets you 50% clean energy from SBCE at the same generation rate as SCE. 

Opt Out of Santa Barbara Clean Energy: Please Note - If you opt out of SBCE, you will no longer be eligible to receive SBCE rebates and incentives and cannot re-enroll in SBCE for one year. To remain eligible for SBCE programs and pay the same generation rate as SCE, opt down to Green Start.
